The Book of Isaiah
Chapter 20
1In the year of the coming of the Tartan to Ashdod, when Sargon king of Assyria sent him, and he fought against Ashdod and he captured it.
2At that time YHWH spoke by the hand of Isaiah son of Amoz, saying: "Go! And loosen the sackcloth from upon your loins, and your sandal you shall remove from upon your feet." And he did so — walking naked and barefoot.
3And YHWH said: "Just as my servant Isaiah walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and a portent against Egypt and against Cush,
4so shall the king of Assyria lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young men and old men, naked and barefoot, and with bared buttocks, the nakedness of Egypt.
5And they shall be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush, their hope, and because of Egypt, their glory.
6And the inhabitant of this coastland shall say in that day: 'Behold, thus is our hope, to whom we fled there for help, to be delivered from the face of the king of Assyria, and how shall we escape — we?'"
