The Book of Isaiah

Chapter 12

¹And you shall say in that day:

"I shall give-thanks-to-you, YHWH,

for you were angry against me —

your nose turns back

and you comfort me.

²Behold, God is my salvation,

I shall trust and not dread,

for my strength and song is Yah, YHWH,

and he was to me for salvation."

³And you shall draw water with rejoicing

from the springs of the salvation.

⁴And you shall say in that day:

"Give-thanks to YHWH,

call on his name,

make known among the peoples his deeds.

⁵Sing to YHWH, for exaltation he has done,

made known is this in all the earth.

⁶Cry shrilly and shout for joy,

O inhabitress of Zion,

for great in your midst

is the Holy One of Israel."
